Elements of managerial quality that influence productivity: Strategy for its improvement

Abstract

Currently, it is managers who face the challenge of generating greater productivity in their organizations, given the current working conditions that require them to be more efficient with the available resources. To do this, it is necessary to develop a management system that contributes to facilitating the change and allows achieving superior results in individual and organizational performance; This article is the result of an investigation carried out at the “Mártires de Artemisa” cement company. The objective of this work is to develop a strategy that improves the elements of management quality that influence the productivity of the Mártires de Artemisa Cement Company. Different methods are used: theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical, and techniques (survey, interview, document review, user consultation using the Iadov technique). Among the main results is the strategy, developed with a systemic, dynamic, flexible, integrated, creative and relevant character; materialized in a set of actions that contribute to their development. The implementation of the strategy contributes to the improvement of the company's management through the consolidation of its management team, starting from the Diagnosis and Planning stages.
