Comparative analysis of freedom of association in the private sector: Ecuador and Argentina

The right to freedom of association is a vehicle to achieve many other labor rights. To the extent that the worker manages to join a union, he or she acquires strength and support; therefore, state interference should only be present to protect the right and not to contain it. After an exhaustive comparison between the situation of this right between Ecuador and Argentina, it was possible to conclude that Ecuador occupies one of the last positions in the guarantee of this Right and Argentina, one of the first, not only in the region but also in the world. Which leads to implementing its successes in this sphere. This is achieved after the approach and scope as a general objective: Compare the normative regulation and materialization of the right to freedom of association in the Ecuadorian private labor sector with its normative and practical situation in the Argentine legal system, in order to have tools that Allow us to perfect and overcome the shortcomings of this right in Ecuador.
