Abstract

Strategic management is defined as the art and science of formulating, implementing and evaluating decisions that enable an organization to achieve its objectives. The current context, marked by several global challenges, has revealed the shortcomings of traditional management approaches. The objectives of this research are to carry out a strategic analysis to support sound decision making in the company and contribute to business improvement. The historical-logical method, analysis-synthesis, and empirical methods such as bibliographic reviews, informal interviews, direct observations, calculation of indexes, comparative methods and calculation of financial ratios were used. An in-depth evaluation of the entity's situation in the period 2022-2024 is achieved, causes are determined and strategies are proposed to eliminate or minimize the identified gaps, thus contributing to the improvement of business management and reducing the level of subjectivity in the decision making process.
