Artificial intelligence has been integrated into the educational field, through strategies that directly involve students and improve their motivation through dynamic, creative and innovative classes; although in the field of Natural Sciences at the basic education level, traditionalist, memoristic, reproductive and unidirectional teaching and learning strategies that do not promote students' interest in scientific inquiry still persist. Hence, the need for this research, with a mixed methodology, non-experimental design, transversal type and descriptive scope; with the objective of designing an active methodological strategy to enhance scientific inquiry in Natural Sciences with artificial intelligence in basic education. As a result, it proposes a methodological strategy that not only enhances scientific inquiry in Natural Sciences in tenth grade students of basic education, but also favors adaptive learning, autonomous learning, motivation, understanding of concepts, interest and curiosity; as well as the development of skills such as critical thinking and problem solving through artificial intelligence tools such as Botify, Gamma and Megaprofe. The research does not limit further investigations into this topic, which can be studied in greater depth in the future.
