Abstract

This scientific article has a historical-legal character related to occupational risks from the gender perspective with a constitutional approach. This type of research shows that there are significant inequalities in the work environment, which directly affect women in various ways.  Since October 2008, Ecuador has made known through its supreme norm that all citizens are equal, regardless of their race, age, ethnicity, religion, profession, etc. Therefore, analysing labour risks from a gender perspective is essential to guarantee a fair and safe work environment for all people. Through a deductive method, it will be analyzed what are those occupational risks that workers or employees can contract within their workplace, as well as project the percentages of inequality that exist in the middle of the year 2024, with respect to adequate work between men and women.
