Abstract

This study, employing a mixed-methods approach with a non-experimental and descriptive design, addresses the urgent educational need to develop emotional intelligence among sixth-grade students by integrating cognitive, affective, social, and ethical competencies. A pedagogically holistic and active methodological strategy was designed, recognizing emotion as an integral component of learning and fostering progressive emotional management through targeted activities that develop empathy, emotional expression, and self-control. This strategy enables students to acquire emotional skills essential for stress management, conflict resolution, and empathetic relationship building. Although focused on a single institution, the methodological design offers potential applicability across different educational settings and levels.
