Secure Procurement in Cuban Hotels: Implementing ISO 28000 Across Differentiated Contexts
Keywords:

ISO 28000:2022 was implemented in three Cuban hotel facilities with contrasting territorial characteristics: Playa Costa Verde (coastal), Iberostar Grand Packard (urban), and Pinares de Mayarí (rural). Through an adapted methodological approach, a system of indicators was designed and validated to ensure secure procurement, integrating digital traceability, predictive planning, and operational sustainability.. The proposed system enables the evaluation of logistical efficiency, resilience to disruptions, and transparency across the supply chain. It offers a replicable tool within the Cuban hospitality sector, with potential applicability in other strategic areas, contributing to institutional strengthening and responsible tourism development from a territorial perspective.
