Abstract

This study analyzes the academic impact of implementing didactic guides with concrete materials on electrical circuits for the Second Year of High School (Segundo de Bachillerato) at the Guillermo Mensi Educational Unit in Ecuador during the 2024-2025 academic period. The objective is to evaluate the academic performance, specifically on the topic of electrical circuits, of students in the Second Year of the Unified General Baccalaureate (Segundo de Bachillerato General Unificado) at the Guillermo Mensi Educational Unit, following the implementation of a didactic proposal. The data were processed and analyzed using statistical tests for normality, homogeneity of variances, and comparison of means, which allowed for a detailed analysis of the results between the experimental and control groups. The study demonstrates that the implementation of didactic guides with concrete materials facilitates the comprehension and application of topics such as Ohm's Law and electrical circuits, indicating that the proposed approach fosters effective learning.
